- Dedicated Bike Routes: The city has created eight dedicated bike routes with distinctive signage, informational maps, and kiosks that highlight dozens of landmarks, facilities, and recreational activities.
- Bicycle Friendly Community: Cape Coral received the designation as a Bicycle Friendly Community-bronze level by The League of American Bicyclists in 2015. And in 2016, the Florida Bicycle Association selected Cape Coral for the Bicycle Friendly Community of the Year Award.
